Nach vielen regnerischen Tagen in der Stadt freute ich mich richtig auf Sonne und Strand. Die Fahrt führte dementsprechend auch die schöne Ostküste Australiens entlang bis nach Noosa Heads. Day 1

Today from 11am was spent on the bus to get to Harvey Bay. We went through several places on the way: Surfers Paradise, Brisbane (where we stopped off for 45 mins) and Noosa. The scenary wasn't any good really as we spent the majority of the time on the motorway so we watched a couple of films on the greyhound bus and for the remain...

Decided to go and do some more exploring and went to the other side of te island to Moon Point which is where the barge from Hervey Bay docks (but didn't see a barge the whole time there). The track wasn't as bad as yesterday wich meant we could at times get up to the 35km/h speed limit. Didn't see much traffic either - don't think many others v...

We had a lovely visit with Stuart at Hervey Bay and managed to fit in a whale watching cruise. Unfortunately the photos didn't turn out and the video footage is really average, so we won't bore you with them. The Great Barrier Reef extends for over 2000 km up the Queensland Coast, it is the only living thing visible from Outer Space and I have seen 50 square metres of it close up !
