Although National Geographic cites data saying that the Maldives won't be wiped off the map by global warming until the end of the century, I had to say goodbye in the middle of June.

Before I left I got to see a resort at last - a special for local residents made a night in Eriyadu pretty affordable, particularly as I remembered to BYO my H20. I thought $4 USD for a 500ml bottle of water was pretty outrageous until I saw the price of diving. But even that ...

... 7 times already!), who gave us a farewell party - literally. :)
The flight from Rangali to Male was hot but the views were amazing.
When we reached the airport, some airline people were rushing us as if we're late - which we weren't. It's just that the flight from Male to Bangalore had so few people in it (apx. 10), so they decided to fly 30 minutes BEFORE ...

... cruise last night to see the sun go down and also saw some dolphins jumping alongside us. Lovely to see. Otherwise all is good in the land of paradise and tomorrow is Friday and our last day before preparing for a days travel to get back to home. Will update with plans tomorrow night and once the sea plane has been re-fuelled. Love to all. J&G ...
