    First we went to Marie Selby Botanical Garden. Enjoyed the walk through the gardens, as well as the tour through the Payne home. We then went to the Mote Aquarium, enjoyed that as well.     We are HOME! What a wonderful feeling to pull into our neighborhood and to realize that with all the amazing places we visited that this was the place that we wanted to end up.     ... long standing ties to Alaska. My Grandfather was involved in building the original Alaska Highway, my Dad was appointed to West Point from the Territory of Alaska in 1929! My Mom and Dad were married in Anchorage in 1941 and Dad was in the Aleutians during World War II! My brother lived in Anchorage for ~35 years!

    Well, we're back! We arrived on Sunday afternoon and I must admit the last four days have been busy! We visited our "stuff" in the storage unit but left with only the printer...the task ahead is a bit daunting. But we'll get to it soon I hope.
