So off we went with another couple from the US, they were even more nervous than us and the guy said he suffers from claustrophobia… In terms of risk, it’s definitely a more dangerous dive, however our guide was quite experienced which put us at ease.

We got to the cenote, got all the gear on and walked down to the entrance. We jumped in quite quickly and didn’t really ...

The reality suddenly dawned on me. This is really happening. I'm going to China. I have also started to plan the visit, brainstorming the sights I want to see in Beijing. Most exciting, however, is the one week ...

... much air that it became dangerously low, and for the first time ever I actually ran out of air and had to take Chucho's alternate air source. Thankfully, he had plenty of air, and I knew exactly what to do; I was surprisingly calm. After our last dive, Jessica and Rachel invited me out for lunch. I needed a way back to the hostel anyways, so this was my ticket! Chucho came with us, and I also met Jessica's fiancé Weston. We had an awesome lunch ...
