Thankfully our bus ride up the coast to Playa Del Carmen was a nice quick 1 hour trip. As we came into Playa the bus drove through the streets and our excitement grew, because Playa del Carmen looked AWESOME!!. Our collectivo dumped us at the central terminal so as soon as we jumped out, Stephie and I hailed a cab, threw everyone's bags (between us we had a lot) in and decided to go ahead and check us in while Stuie and Jess would walk to meet us there. ... begin.

Our resort is about 45 minutes South of Cancun in Playa Del Carmen. We found our shuttle and we were on our way. We arrived at the resort and were greeted with Pina Caladas and Margaritas. We got checked into our room, explored the resort and went to dinner. We were all pretty tired from traveling all day so we went to bed early. We also did what I will call a Christ walk-we were barefoot and walked ...

... a raft, drank a Pina Colada and made friends. :) It was wonderful. The swim up bar is great! And they always have lots of fun things going on, like pool bingo, water aerobics, black jack (yes, in the pool), etc. It's a lot of fun. There were not this many activities at Jumby, that was a place to go and get away, so it was REALLY nice to be around a lot of people and really get to make friends or just talk to other people. Such a fun fun place!

We didn't go ...
