Surprisingly enough - because we went to bed around 2am - we wake up before 8am. The weather predicted rain, but it's sunny outside so we're happy. We head to Kabah, one of the breakfast buffet restaurants, stopping by the lobby first to say hello to Jesus... who is as smiley as ever. On the way to our hotel we discovered that Emily and Cheryl were staying at the same place. This lead to a night time drinking session and a good old chin wag! A wonderful adventurous ...

... Sunday, Monday and Tuesday: The rest of the week followed a similar pattern. After two weeks of constant movement the days by the beach felt well deserved. We sunbathed and socialised until Tuesday, at which point I was ready to go home and rest before my next adventure to South East Asia on Sunday. I'm sure I will spend the rest of my life wanting these two weeks back, but whats done is done and I have had the bloody time of my life. So onwards to ...

I was starting to wonder if I was supposed to going on this trip at all, with lots of obstacles including not being able to fly when I was supposed to due to my travel agent stuffing up! So here I am a day late, but finally in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
I arrived after flying Perth to Sydneyto Dallas to Cancun, and then why stop, and continued on a bus down to Playa. Very beautiful here, very touristy and very cliche, ...
