Today was the best day of riding yet. We left Taormina and headed to Messina for our ferry ride back to the mainland. Sicily was a lot of fun with amazing ancient artifacts to see. I must admit though, the countryside is nothing like I had imagined, nor the food. Tropea - back on the main land
... anything that includes red onion. It was very sweet and tasty, so I guess they have a right to boast. Our fist dinner was a record low at 24euros (2 pizzas, 2 drinks, water, dessert), a popular pizza restaurant where we had to queue to get in - no wonder, at those prices!

After the late night, I needed to sleep in til about 9. We ate breakfast and lunch and just relaxed for the afternoon. I even napped for a little while.
