We woke up early to enjoy the beach and hoped to see dolphins but no luck. The beach was stunning though. We had breakfast and packed up to leave. They gave us a CD on check out from the Inn of romantic beach music! Such a nice touch. I was sad to leave. It was so nice there.

... only have this one day here (due to my **** poor planning yesterday we only arrived at 4:30) so I was hoping for at least some beach time with no rain. Not really for sunbathing. I am fine if it isn't sunny but I just wanted to take some pictures and walk on the sand.
So we went to find a vapor shop so Jym can replace the e-cig he lost at Dragon*con. I am glad we FINALLY found his kind here in Destin and not too far ...
... also getting eaten alive by a crazy sand fly.
We decided to have dinner here at the Inn. The chef and food are supposed to be the best around and they certainly stood to that reputation! Jym had lamb and I had Grouper Vince. Both were fantastic. We also tried the portabella for an appetizer and a side of the 150 day old aged white cheddar truffled macaroni. Wow. We had no room for dessert though…sad ...
... on. It is also lighter than I remember it ever being. I depart the mo'tel that has been my home for 6 days. If I was smart I could have ordered some GoPro camera accessories and had them delivered here.

We had a fast trip on the train late Wednesday from Florence to Rome and transferred to a regional train for the last ride to Fiumicino Aeroporto. The Italian countryside flew by at about 170 MPH, slower than from Venice :>) and I am sharing some snapshots of the rolling hills we passed on the journey.
