A Half Marathon Trek Around the City

A travel blog entry by christinakrawec on Dec 30, 2014

... I was eager to try was called El Squid Roe, which seemed to be one of the most popular dance clubs/bars downtown. I can barely even describe the place-- almost like a Joe's Crab Shack but with neon lights, a dance floor, and a double-decker bus on one end that served as a bar and lounge area. I loved it. We even ran into Jonathan's coworker from Apple there-- it was the strangest coincidence. He and his coworker had no idea that the other would be in Cabo. Go figure.

With our snorkeling gear in tow we set off across the sand and find the "perfect" location, when in reality ...

... This year as the only single, Dan took his parents hostage and flew the coop to celebrate his birthday and New Years. It took all we had for Steve and I to stay up til midnight but after we all toasted each other and sat to watch the fireworks explode in the crystal clear sky, I caught a glimpse of Linda and Susan turning to each other with tears in their eyes and sharing a warm smile. I was so touched and thought immediately of the many varied blessings in our lives. Never ...

I was a sight that not many people get to witness on the beaches and poolside of the Pueblo Bonita Resort, and a lot of people had questions for me.

"You want a drink, why aren't you drinking, why are you reading?"

My response, "I'm studying for the LCSW exam."

My sister asked me to join her on a free 10 day trip to Mexico so obviously I was going. I said goodbye to the dreary NW ...
