... major industry in Mexico, the most important source of income is oil. At least 2/3rds of the worlds grey whales are believed to pass this way to give birth and to enjoy the winter in the warmer waters. The story behind the guys from Patrone is an interesting one, it's actually an American company that came to Mexico and started their business flooding the US market with tequila that was made from 50percent sugar cane and the balance from the agardo plant...This is not legal in Mexico but the American company did so well that they eventually built their own production facilities in the US and now make the pure stuff themselves. ...
