Drove to Puebla this morning, arriving about 11.45am. The hotel we are staying in, Hotel del Portal, is in a fabulous location facing the main square in the Historical Centre. The Cathedral (Mexico's tallest) occupies an entire block of the main square. The other three blocks of the square are lined with cafes and restaurants, with the arcades dating back to the 16th century.

... had the whole time here :(. It was very good. More pumpkin flower, squash, cubed cheese, etc. The main course was a very large plate of three different types of moles. Mole is typical to this area apparently. I didn't like the brown mole. I only liked the red and green, but after everything else and as full as I was, I didn't enjoy it much either.
