      Glad I didn't come to the Caiso and Soca Monarch contest yesterday. Things ran late because of technical problems. An old singer who was going to have his last Carnival appearance this year (that's the message every year) had to start all over again a couple of times because of a failing monitor, thus ruining his final trick.       ... kit for the first time. I wasn't expecting that to be for bandaids on the ankles though.
