      ... place has been destroyed and rebuilt from the ashes with a determination and perseverance hard to fathom. It has now reinvented itself as a hub for boat charters.       ... and Tomatos and some Chips and we were ready for the afternoon. Emma also found that if you order a vodka and lemonade, you get a vodka with fresh lemon juice - but it definitely wasn't a disappointing revelation! She loved them so much that this was apparently her new favourite drink! By the time we had finished, so had the rain - perfect timing! Time to go looking.

      ... on our schedule because of the late receival of the boat documents and as Libby and Marty weren't arriving until midnight Saturday we decided to go through to Hvar. We arrived in the marina at lunch time, tied up the boat and walked across the island and had a great lunch at a lovely little restaurant over looking a small bay full of boats.
      Off to Korcula tomorrow.

      ... aborted and we had lunch in a local bar/restaurant which seemed promising with its suckling pig roasting on the spit (but unfortunately only ready in time for dinner). This was probably our worst meal of the trip but memorable just the same. Fortunately Croatian beer is good so that made up for the food. Krka National Park is an amazing place with extensive cyrstal clear lakes and massive waterfalls. The 1.4km boardwalk provided great views of diverse wetlands and waterfalls. ...

      ... way from the hostel to the bus station. I had an extra hour to kill, but it was basically pouring rain, so I didn't really feel like doing any additional walking around, especially with my big pack.

      The train station is right by the bus station, and there was a nice waiting room there, so I went and sat down there. I even managed to find an outlet to plug in my phone, which was in desperate need of more charging if it was still going ...
