    ... main feature being the Bell Tower. I decided to climb the million or so stairs ( felt like a million), but Leesa kept to the terra firma. Climbing the first section was a challenge in itself as it comprised of narrows stairs in carved out tunnels winding up through the stonework, but then it opened up. There were four external walls with an internal metal staircase fixed to those walls, winding up about 50 metres. Not much in the way of handrails and ...

    ... two girlfriends in Serbia, who want us to come to Belgrade to visit! Unfortunately, he also was horsing around with his buddy Liam in the PE room and Liam fell and hit his head on the wall, requiring three stitches. Shall we say that the school is not teeming with patience for our dear boy? Poor Kieran felt terrible but we hope he learns from it to work ********* his impulse control! UGH!

    Anyway, our embassy friends took Kieran out to see a silent Charlie Chaplin ...

    ... The next morning I was on my way to Podstrana just south of Split. I first rode to Knin with a 20km detour due to road work, then along the lake Peruēko to Sinj before rejoining the motorway direction Split and then short ride to Podstrana where I stayed 2 days at Villa Mikrut.
    Split is a beautiful city buzzing with tourists. It is the second largest City in Croatia.

    ... and sang and we clapped and cheered and swung our napkins around. The ships staff are all Indonesian as I've mentioned and this has been wonderful. The cabin crew all walked through with their towel animals. It was absolutely the best part of cruising. Had me choked up a bit it did. Today we are in Venice. Beautiful beautiful Venice. I'm an expert on Venice (lol) so we are going exploring through the lane ways and get totally lost and find Versace and bridges ...
