... has continued on from our Thailand trip a few years ago. At last our rows were boarding so we packed up our bags and hopped on the plane to Houston Texas!

Three and a half hours later we were landing in Texas. Stepping off the plane the heat just hit us, man was it hot out. Obviously all the main restaurants on the sea front are expensive because this is where the Cruise ships dock so it's tourist central. However we found a really nice quiet tourist free restaurant called Rock 'n' Java with reasonable priced delicious food. I had white fish ...

... amazing way to spend a couple of days. We are feeling really relaxed.

On Friday evening after dinner we went back to the theater and enjoyed a magic show. Again it was delightfully cheesy but they actually performed some pretty good tricks. Afterwards they had live music at the rooftop bar. It was a Mexican boy band. We were much more subdued this night and had a glass of wine and went to bed at a reasonable hour.
