... a little dirty, but the sunsets (and sunrise if I ever see one) are beautiful. It has restaurants and resorts along the shoreline, so always somewhere to eat and drink. ... take your picture' eased as they all put on big grins and shovelled harder, pleased to be noticed I think.

All the time I was there and over subsequent visits, they never stop the machine or their working to feed it as it presses out one brick at a time. The 'pressing machine' is powered by a big red generator linked to the machine. The noise level is high continuously.

There is a huge pile of mixed dark grey sand and gravel and somewhere in there some form ...

... fine. A couple of large Bintang beers, a steak sandwich and chicken satay, sat at a table on the beach as close to the sea as we could possibly get. All for less than a tenner, including a large bottle of water to take home with us. I could get used to this! Talking of which, Kirsty said she is properly relaxed being here. Ermm, so tomorrow we up sticks to head somewhere else.... PS: August 17th, Independence day in Indonesia, flags are awaving everywhere. ...

... peanut satay for $2.50 and other rice dishes for around the same price were well worth it. Our most surprising meal by far was a $1.10 meal in a little Warung near the Surf/Kite shop. I'm not sure what I ate, but it was delicious. In addition to biking around and eating, we attended another yoga class in a nearby organic restaurant where Steph and I were the only yogis. ... Not only the massage but my entire stay in Bali. I will return to explore the rest of the island as I did not even see any of the beaches.

Once again back into Kuala Lumpur for a few days and then on the 6th i head back to the Turtle project. I will be there for about 3 months before I have to do another visa run so I doubt if you will hear from me for a while but at least my blog is finally up to date.
