The day at cos began at bodrum at 2-4am with mild food poisoning or something for me. We headed across to Greece on a boat and in 40 minutes we had arrived and got our third stamp this trip. Wondering where we were going to leave our bags and sit for 9 hours we were approached by a fat Greek lady on a Vespa. Two minutes later I was behind an old guy on one Vespa with two bags and Jen was on the other behind the girl with ...

Boarded a ferry today & headed off to Kos, Greece. Tomorrow will do a sailboat & swim thing. Can hardly wait Oct.18 We are boarding a tall sailing ship for a day of sailing & swimming. They are jammed packed with people. We have only 10 people on our boat. There is plenty of room to lounge around, and ...

... hit it off, it was even probably on about the same level as those two back in its day however now it's just really quite a wasteland. Still very pretty in places but the town is a pretty sad sight to see. Main visitors are day trippers from Bodrum and the more we biked around the more evident it became that this was a dying hotspot if not already dead. A lot of hotels and hostels and even more half built and dated establishments. It almost felt like we ...

    Riding dune buggies in Kos

... and go. I did it. My vanity had already taken a massive hit for the past 2.5 weeks, so why stop now? We went to the ruins in Kos, which were interesting, and far more visited than those in Astipalia. There were magnificent views from the hilltop fortress remains, with many a photo-op. Afterwards, we rented dune buggies, and each of the adults drove one child with them. Sam took the lead and drove us up gravel paths, some of which ...
