      ... the feeling, and thankfully if anyone understands the frustration of not being able to exercise, it's them. So I felt better, even though I also felt like a whiner.

      We made a quick stop in Knidos, since the winds were still high and we couldn't stay overnight here. Knidos had a couple of claims to fame: it was the home of one of the inventors of geometry, and it has some of the best ruins on the Turkish coast from over 2000 years ago. Despite the winds, Captain Guner managed to moor us for a couple of hours in the bay so that we could see the old footprints of homes and buildings, fallen columns ...

      ... New York Israeli)! Him, his friend and two lovely Israeli ladies that they just met on the plane join our group...the group just keeps getting bigger!  Next up, more Czech friends of D's; šárka (sharka- roll the r) and Díana (pronounced Deanna), local tour guides for the summer.  It all gets very exciting after their pumpin, music bumpin....this must continue and it does till roughly 4 am.       ... and complimentary tequila shots. I return his kindness by offering my woman powers...assisting him in corralling some English ladies to the bar. :-) In the end we made a wonderful new friend out of Manos (bar host @ The Doors - like the band), interesting convo with 2 English chics, and an amazing first night out in Kos (and our real first night out on the town since starting our trip) Pics to come and more updates ---you'll soon learn the cause of this major delay in updates ...

      Very lazy day today. Down to the beach for a couple of swims and lounging. Saw a few fish. Some looked a nice size and the saddled sea bream are quite friendly.
      then back to the rooms to get ready for our massage.
