We found an excellent restaurant which you had to get a boat across the river to, this was not easy at the end of the night in the dark and not comforting when the guy in the boat is scooping out water with a bucket!! We had our first Korean Fondu which was lovely its like a soup which you make yourself and you ...

... the night market is on. Locals kneel down on the edge of the pavement with bamboo pots of sticky rice and as each monk passes a ball of rice is placed into each sleepy monk's alms bowl. We had read in various travel literature that tourists were welcome to observe this alms giving but were implored not to use flash photography, or indeed, walk right up to a monk with your camera even if it meant you could catch a beautiful snap. To our horror flocks of tourists ...

In 30 seconds I can be standing in front of 25 different kinds of wonderful foods like sun dried mud ox, grilled  whole or half chickens, fried chicken feet and rooster's head rubber banded together, grilled fish stuffed with lemon grass, grilled mud ox, some soup like desserts, bamboo soup, papaya salad, different ...
