... to carry it up and down the stairs to bring to us on our balcony. You would get super fit working anywhere in Santorini just because of all the steps!
After breakfast we decided to take the 30 minute walk across the cliffs into the capital Fira. The walk was mostly downhill and gave us some magnificent views of the caldera. I think Santorini is definitely one of the most photogenic places in the world. Everywhere I turned it was an amazing sight. The ...

    Relaxed for Airport Madness

... The water was so clear. It amazes me every time we see it. We stayed around for about 20-25 minutes before we headed off to Perissa beach so we could get a late breakfast. We found a cool little place that had loungers on the beach so we set up towels and headed in for breakfast. They cooked a very nice breakfast. ... before night fall. Whilst Ang said "more rocks", Myknonos has a different look to Santorini. Even more desert like and rockier than just being volcanic, like a an old western movie setting. The roads and lanes and some houses are walled in stone, but most buildings are still finished in the ubiquitous white plaster. This place begs the question even more than when I asked some locals in Santorini - how does the infrastructure support all the people eg water and ...

... are still more to be discovered. (You will have to ask Paul if you want any more info about that visit,.....LOL)

Went to the beach with black sand - interesting but I have to say that we are so spoilt with our beaches that anything else just does not impress.....

Time to go to Germany and catch up with the family.
