      ... Museum. It was awesome to see the Greek ruins and made a nice change from always seeing Italian history. I would have liked to go to the Archaeological Museum as well, but ran out of time and energy. The final morning I headed out a little early to catch my flight back to Rome and was glad I did, as I discovered when I got to the Metro station that the line to the airport was closed because of a strike. I had to catch a different line ...

      ... It was pointed out to me that the donkeys were indeed fat and happy and that the possibility of killing someone down below with falling rocks was high.
      Our housekeeper at the apartment is a lovely woman from Albania. We have had the most animated conversations and I haven't a clue what she's on about. There are millions of jewellery stores in Fira, but we made the mistake of going into one of the most expensive ones.
