    ... we have had to deal with. On the way over to St Thomas from Joost van Dyke we noticed a “clunk” in the steering and it seems that there was a bit more damage done to the rudder when it was hauled out by the Sea Lift in St Maarten to put on the “Hurricane Stand”. They snagged the rudder and took a chunk of fibreglass out of it, which was duly repaired without any fuss but it now seems that the bushes near the quadrant were damaged as well so the yacht will need to ...

Got to the square and the wooden hurricane doors of the courthouse were closed and locked with a huge padlock.     ... on the 5th (less than a week away). And that Luke and Kate would be flying out to work an event with the boss in California. We adjust the plan, do guest shopping the next day, and then find out the 5th was referring to April, not March, and would still be sailing to Puerto Rico. Talk about a whirlwind of a weekend.     None of the shops were open, even after our one and a half mile walk
