    ... I wanted to venture around the port to check out the shops. I looked around a bit and was able to find some little souvenirs for Joanne and the kids.

    For each of the ports that we visit, we always find a magnet for Mom to put on her fridge at her apartment. As you can probably guess, she now has a fridge full of magnets. :)

    As far as ports go, St. Thomas is not the nicest. It seems that both times we were there - there was lots of road construction going on. ...

    ... and fries were really good. Then we grabbed a cab and headed into town for some shopping. Rob bought a new swimsuit, and Kathleen was looking at diamond pendents. She didn’t see anything that she liked that was what she wanted to spend. I looked, but didn’t see anything that caught my eye either.     ... passengers to get rid of. They all headed for the one bank of forward lifts, 120 maximum passengers at a time, all trying to get to different floors. Suddenly the Disney Fantasy became anything but the "happiest place on earth". Protective mothers and tired grouchy fathers all exerted their full parental rights and pushing and shoving and much use of elbows ensued, and not a little bit of ugly angry behaviour.

    ... not so sparing time we were allotted on this island we had to scrap that idea for something new. The new overall plan was to see as much of St. Thomas as we could.
