... is an uber touristy town with whitewash high rise buildings to accommodate tourists. Everything is overpriced and I don't think anyone actually lives here since every building is a hotel or guesthouse. Reminiscent of so many other places I have been, a crescent shaped harbor backed by arid rocky mountains.

Budva turns out to be one nightmare after another for my friends. They have rented an apartment, still not willing to camp cause the temperature's ...

... our way to Budva. Budva is a place that fights with Kotor as the number one destination in the whole of Montenegro and as we approached it’s not hard to see why. A beautiful (no sewage drains) beach flowing through to an amazing old walled town and a fort right on its tip to really add the icing on the cake. We jumped off the boat and headed straight for the Old Town and started walking all around this small wonderland of yesteryear. We admired the scenery, especially ...

... don't give the same significance to the date as I do. We saw the clock tower (where criminals were once put in stocks), the cathedral, St Tryphons, where his relics remain, and wandered haplessly through the gorgeous alleyways soaking in the delightful sites and then embarked on the trek up the hill along the city walls to St Johns fortress.
It was no easy feat, but initially sounded quite achievable...The walls cover ...
