After the hard goodbye we set off on the road in our newish fiat linea. It was a perfect car for our trip. We crossed the board into Albania and quickly realized that they are a bunch of crazy drivers. Not only were they flying by me around sharp corners but their large trucks ride people's asses! We didn't stop in Albania at all. Once in Montenegro we pulled over for a coffee and to use the washroom as we were 6 hours into our drive. After ...

... and some tourists filling up bars that one did not even notice during the day. I've found Montenegrins outgoing and desirous to practice their interest and show off their country and their new found independence. Two words of warning, though, "loud" and "Yugo-pop." ... of Franz Joseph's empire,  Cattaro became Kotor and part of the  newly-formed Yugoslavia. But wait, in 1941, fascist Italy snapped it up for four years as part of what it declared to be the Provinia di Cattaro. But that war after 1945, Kotor became its own lovely corner of The Socialist Republic of Montenegro, part of the renewed communist  Yugoslavia under Marshal Tito. When the wheels came off Yugoslavia in 1990, Montenegro alone remained linked to its remnant state - ...

... relaxing and doing as little walking as possible. I'd seen a sign advertising an outdoor film at Slovenska Plaza, a spot near our apartment, and thought that might fit the bill perfectly. As it turns out, the plaza is actually a gigantic holiday apartment complex that stretches on for an eternity. It took us nearly an hour to finally find the pool where the movie was being shown, which meant that we were just in time ...
