Just to the left was a large building full of small tourist shops that were divided by long narrow walkways that ran past many individual shops. Although the selection was large the prices reflected the fact that these stores were here for convenience instead of good bargains. But all shops in Cabo were willing to negotiate their prices. ...

It has a Little Italy which was more a Tiny Italy but when we visited a nearby but unrelated weekend market had lovely fresh foods and delights. Best of all San Diego has the magnificent Balboa Park with fourteen museums and handsome Spanish, even Moorish, buildings and we spent a lovely and cultured day including listening to the world's largest outdoor organ. ... of it! Not a pleasant experience! We went to a bar first where they do margaritas 2 for $5 - bargain! They were gooood too! Then moved on to the place we were going for dinner, which was like a nightclub but with tables, very strange! It even had a rodeo bull so everyone had a go on that. I had a burrito, the food was surprisingly good! After dinner one of the waiters came round to do this thing which apparently they always do....basically he stands behind you, puts a towel ...
