    ... arrived in port where the taxis and buses are...there was a female Sicilian police officer giving one of the taxis a parking ticket of some sort. A few of these Italian taxi drivers were reading her the riot act in loud, crude Italian <awesome> language!!!     ... the beach. The train is put onto a ferry for the 3km trip to Messina, Sicily. The train was divided into two when we arrived at Messina - one half going on to Palermo and our half to Siracusa. We arrived at Taormina around 8:45 then caught a local bus to our hotel.
