... to start, we went to a Pirate-themed restaurant I had had my eye on ever since we had walked by it the first day. It was good, but, of course it was all touristy American food. But my burger was pretty amazing.

Then we hurried over to the movie and got good seats. Luckily, The Hobbit was in English with Spanish subtitles, so we got all the original voices for the characters. It was a long day, but we did a lot!

... Tanga Tanga' for a meal .We set off for our last evening out together walking into town after the heat of the sun had gone .
One does not need to go snorkelling to view the array of brightly coloured fish. The harbour's edge as we walked via the marina, was full of an amazing variety, clearly visible in the crystal clear water. I chose thinly sliced tomatoes with basil and a special buffalo mozzarella which was so creamy it was unbelieveable. The mozella appeared on top of the sliced tomatoes in a large serving - too much for me but very nice. My second appetiser was at the waiter’s suggestion and that was calamari which again was very nice but too much. Doug had the calamari as a starter

Then out came freshly made ravioli filled ...

... groups, and couples. Couples ranged in age from about 28 to 78. The younger couples we met were from the US but most others were an international mix; many from Canada. The property was well maintained and the service was good.

Gustavo, Eduardo and Ceasar made excellent food recommendations; Adriana, Teo and Alessandro offered fun and challenging activities; Blanca and Franco kept the drinks coming poolside. Service and wait staff was plentiful; all were helpful ...
