... as it was a corner cabin and had 2 portholes, and had a great view forward.

It was a smooth trip and we arrived on time in Igoumenista after 17.5 hours journey.

We left our hotel outside of Pompeii early on Sunday and drove a few hours to The port of Bari. We had to get a ferry to igoumenitsa in Greece. The ferry ride was 9 hours long. This is probably a good time to mention that I don't like boats much. So that was a fun trip! At Igoumenitsa we parked at the terminal and went to enquire about tickets, we decided that the crossing to Ancona would be best, it sails tonight at 12 .30, takes 16 hours and allows dogs in the cabins.
