    ... like he was trying to dress like Superman but had shrunk his outfit in the wash, it made me laugh haha! We took a detour down a side street when we got back onto the main road and it was so peaceful and lovely. We stopped for lunch at a cute little restaurant which was delicious then carried on to the end of the road and reached the Monkey Forest. There were some extraordinary offerings among the many shrines to Brahma, Vishnu, and other gods in the temple compound, including beautiful fruit and flower offerings, many of them quite elaborate and large. And there was also a giant, well, carved pig offering, made up of various pork carcasses and heads, dripping grease onto the grass and stones below it.

    ... spent the enter afternoon playing with balloons. Due to the big ceremony happening this week the school was very quiet so we were able to keep the whole group together which I always enjoy :) I got out loads of balloons and we just spent all afternoon using them in different ways. We drew faces on them, put glitter inside, had balloon fights, and played catch. The children laughed so much the whole time and we finished the day in such a wonderful, happy mood.     A beautiful opal necklace he had bought me in Australia. It's gorgeous.

    It had been the most amazing evening. 3 hours of wonderful food, a stunning setting and even better company.
