... saw it at the Singapore Zoo. Wild and intense, 15 min was all I could take. Felt like 100's of little electric shocks. Some more circles and retracing of steps, more shopping and eventually made it home in time for another class. Dinner at Pundi Pundi, which was nice, another way to enjoy lemongrass as a drink and my satay came to the table on its own little charcoal grill. No gelato on the way home tonight. The place was wonderful having the ancient Tanah Lot Temple just by the sea. Unfortunately. we weren't able to walk across the stones as it was high tide. Tanah Lot is actually popular for their beautiful sun set view ...

It's hard not to be charmed by Ubud. As our driver meandered his way along the small streets, we glimpsed temple roofs and lush gardens, set amidst rice terraces. We passed the Monkey Forest, where a huge crowd of primates had gathered in the trees above the car park, watching the visitors arrive.

Our guesthouse was in a side street just off the main road in central Ubud, and we were stunned by how pretty it was. They had their own temple, and the garden was designed ...
