... of Kotor to save time but still don't make it back to the hotel until just after midnight. We head into the old town for drinks at a few different watering holes. The brilliant idea of swimming leads to an adventure of sneaking into an adjacent villa to swim in the hot tub and "private" pool. ... plane trees. Quite artistic and reminded me of strangler fig trees in Costa Rica. That night the entire hostel watched Thelma and Louise. Always wanted to watch that movie. It was the strangest feeling watching it with a room full of men and 2 other women. Hey, they chose the movie. And I got to see Brad Pitt before the effects of 10 years of heavy smoking. ... and used the internet for 3 hours (I hope you appreciate these!) I visit all the town churches at dusk, when its slightly quieter. They're all built in a Baroque style and is nice to see a bit of history. I have to go for solo dining again, feel a bit of a loner but enjoy my meal all the same. Sneak a bit of the bread into my bag for breakfast tomorrow. I found an orchestra playing in one of the back streets after dinner, which was a great way to end the evening.

... we reached the top of Srd Hill. Phew!!! But the views were definitely worth the effort. On one side was the great views of Dubrovnik and its suburbs. On the other, we were able to see into Bosnia. The rest of Tuesday consisted of relaxing and people watching. On Wednesday morning, we tackled the walk around the Old Town wall.
