      ... that for 35$!!!It's a pre-birthday celebration..let's say ;)) ..even got 30% off cause they are having a promotion : you get the discount if your birthday is in November , lucky Lise!!..what are the odds? It was an awesome massage, very relaxing, we both almost fell asleep. We really felt pampered by the whole experience:))

      ... challenge as it is located outside the center of Ubud and in the middle of some isolated rice fields. The hotel itself however is well worth the trouble and consists of mainly private bungalows dispersed over the property and a little bar/restaurant with infinity pool overlooking the neighboring fields.       ... the supermarket earlier in the day. Barbara also told us which street empties at the beach. So, we set off for the beach and dinner.

      The beach was disappointing. The tide was far out and the sands were think and nothing like sands on the islands of the Caribbean. Along the beach-front walk, we found many luxury hotels with their own swimming pools and restaurants.

      ... the same in so many ways! Baliana Our first weekend in Bali we rented a villa on the north shore with 12 of Kevin's friends. Perfectly located just a stone's throw from the ocean where we could surf and enjoy the beach. The waves were a little big for beginners but Phil and I were willing to learn.       ... procession they were having in honor of the Kings recent death. Everyone had to wear sarongs, even the tourists, which was well and truly worth it to witness the color of the clothing to the decorations and floats that they had built to travel with the coffin through the streets. It was a really happy affair with people waving and basically wishing him well on his journey. It was a beautiful thing to witness.
