Lovely drive to Noosa and really pleased to be back. Had lunch and headed into town and the beach. Beach, beach, beach, honestly its all we do!!!! Its really starting to cool down now and even today wasn't warm enough form me to swim. The beach was packed though.

Flew north from Sydney to Brisbane where we hired a huge white people carrier called Norman and meandered our way to Noosa via the glass mountains. Tall, vertical sloped mountains actually volcanic plugs. Impressive scenery, reminded me of the limestone mountains in Vang Vieng, Laos. ... At the campsite its self, there wasn't a proper camp-kitchen and everything was spread apart. And we had to pay $1 per shower- a bit if a ********* when we were already paying $40 a night to camp on grass! So we were a bit disheartened initially, but we made the best of it. I decided we weren't going to worry about the ferry costs because i wanted to see Noosa itself, and not just be stuck on the island.

... Bouncing all over the place, laughing! Our car was the only one which didnt get stuck! Was soo dusty and fun. we visited natural lakes.. made by only rain water. No crocs... just very small fish... which is always good.

Everone took in turns to drive... crossing water and going in all types of sand.. can be difficult but def good fun. Towards the end of the day we spotted a dingo on the beach.. we slowed down and it came so close to the car... was ...
