Lannion to Douarnenez

A travel blog entry by marlwhite on Sep 01, 2014

After breakfast left the Ibis Hotel and drove up the coast to Trebeuren a small seaside resort then down the coast passing through lots of little seaside towns with lovely big beaches. Locquirec is a particularly nice small seaside resort. Had the best coffee since leaving home at a little seaside village called Michel Le Greve then continued driving along seaside villages with a large expanse of beach. We then found a hotel with a very good rate that included breakfast. =) With that, we were off and ...

As we sailed past the Raz it was a lovely feeling to think we didn't have to do this sail again as it can be very tidal. Once we passed the Raz we had a super sail to Audierne where we anchored for the night both very relieved and happy to have ...

All moored up in Brest marina at 10.30am will update blog later need to rest and recover ....... Good channel crossing just tired.
We fuelled up in Falmouth as we didn't know how much we would have to use depending on how much or how little wind there was going to be. We said our goodbyes to very good friends Jan and Brian who normally keep their boat in Rochefort but at the moment they are in Falmouth for a refit. We also met friends from years ago at the ...
