Last days in Brazil...
... up the mountain, but alas it was a 3hr wait - so ended up taking one of the many vans up. Very crowded once you get there...and it was extremely hot and humid, but had fantastic views overseeing the whole of Rio and beyond. The statue is made of concrete and stands about 38m high. There is a temple directly under the base of the statue. So now we can check it off our list...been there done that!
Traveled back down the winding road in time for an afternoon sunset ...
Another fight
... and told me to call her. Cool. So I call her one day and I ask if Katrina is there, and she goes "this is Katrina", me "Hey whatīs up, itīs Shawn", her "oh hey shawn, whatīs going on", me "not much, so what are you doing, making samiches", her "click", thatīs right the bit#h hung up on me. Hah, how hilarious is that. Lesson learned, if a chick works in a samich shop donīt ax her if she is making samiches on her off hours from work. ...
