... and we could hear them singing for at least 2 hours. Boys sure know how to have fun. I got some Euros and bought some Montenegran beer. There was a complimentary bottle of delicious red wine in the room and Leslie and I enjoyed a glass before dinner. We met as a group to review the way things worked and to hear about the hiking options for tomorrow. Each day you can choose between a longer, more challenging walk, or the wimp walk which I am doing tomorrow. Don't want to kill myself ...

Now it is getting time to come down from the mountain. We find a trail, a beautiful switchback trail that heads back to the Bay of Kotor. We find that it is called the Ladder of Cattaro. The trail actually starts down at the Skurda Rijeka (River) and heads up this mountain called Lovcen. We were taking it back down to the river. ...

... race! I have to say it - some people really need to look in a mirror before they bare all! Anyway it was fun and I had to remind Phil to close his mouth sometimes as he checked out the bikini clad beauties who obviously did check themselves in the mirror! We managed to find ourselves a deck chair in the shade amongst the mass and spent the next couple of hours lolling about (Phil slept) before I was the one who got bored first (shock!) and we wandered off ...

... the sea and there is this small village. Then daily a huge cruise ship arrives over shadowing everything and flooding the bay with more tourists.

After a couple of days rest we head off on a stunning drive to finish off the bay and arrive a beautiful fishing village called Rose. We have lunch and then keep driving on Kotor-Lovcen road. This is 17km of stunning views snaking up 25 hairpin turns. Off course it is a 2-way ...

... the way down passing tourists off the cruise ship. We had fun guessing how far some of them would make it, considering some of the women were dressed more to 'do lunch', than to climb. An American woman asked if we had seen any snakes and we could have had some fun with that ... but we didn't.

We drove to Lovcen National Park. Paul was keen to get to a spot where he had seen a photo taken. To get there though is a drive on an 'extreme' road. It had 25 ...
