Well I think everyone had a pretty good night last night! Alex got in at 2:30 and then went to find Taylor and they got in at 4:30! Breaky at 7:30 this morning before catching the bus to the old town with Dan and Ethan. We started with a walk along the city walls, which run the whole way around the old town, for an hour or so. The views were amazing and it was so hot up there even though it was only 8am. Along the coastal side there are bars and restraints burrowed into the cliffs ...

Doug was asleep at this stage, but Justine kept me company as we drove through the ...

... up for it completely, so much so that I don’t even know who was winning or won due to my interest in the people rather than the game. Crazy, crazy Croats!

With so many people in the town and now with a chance of having fire crackers and flares thrown at us, we decided to change it up a little, get off the land and organised a kayaking trip. The trip would take us into the Adriatic, around the walls of the Dubrovnik Old Town ...

... city gates we were treated to some entertaining tales as we were guided around the old town. With a mixture of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries and palaces Dubrovnik really is an eclectic city.

Like so many of the old walled towns we had visited along the way within the city walls there were alleyways lined with restaurants, bars and an abundance of souvenir stores. Whilst the old town was a blanket of soft beige and the paving a mass ...
