Afterwards we topped up essentials from the pharmacy and then decided we would find a CrossFit box Gaz had googled. We got back to the car and cruised over.

I was afraid to make eye contact! Not the kind of place I was expecting at all!

We were nearly an hour late boarding our flight from Frankfurt to Moscow. They eventually bussed us out to the aircraft then left us sitting on the bus while they checked out a 'technical fault'. A few minutes later they reassuringly told us that the plane was fine and that we could now board. We were all given a toffee bar as ...

... buddies, had arrived from Philly and we were flying to Africa together. First stop: food! Especially since I had slept through dinner and drink service on my first flight and literally sat in my seat without moving for 8 hours. At least the girl two seats over was cute.

          Next stop: Stopover in Khartoum!
