In the caves at Mercier there were a number of carvings that were there to brighten the days of the workers as well as serve as art pieces for the visitors to the winery. The founder of the champagne house was very forward thinking when it came to marketing and brand awareness, in fact for the 1900 World’s Fair he even created an advertising ...

Spritz in the local piazza with enough nibbles - that always accompany pre-dinner drinks- to feed a small family!! casual walk through town before selecting the nights dinner venue. So not looking forward to cooking when I get home!!

While we were outside sitting in the shade of the trees looking out over the scenery, I thought I had better ring Coppos to see if we could visit. Luisa answered and said they were home, so I asked Rosanna if they could drop us there instead ...
