    ... sun, sand, and swimming. Brighton was a bit of a different story. You got to remember that it is in the UK, which doesn't really get warm, and rain is much more likely on any given day then sunshine.     Up c 0615, computer time and a shower consuming the pre-brekkie period. The Mouse was down in reception complaining his wifi would not work. The 'Breakfast Club' quintet were in place before Posh Nosh arrived. They all like their tennis and were generally critical of Murray.     ... The lake was beautiful, unfortunately it was too cold for there to be any options to go out on the water. We spent a few hours walking around the entire city. Stopped by the Plaoshnik, an archaeological site that also had St. Clement's Church on its grounds. The place was undergoing construction at the time, but the outside and inside of the church was beautiful, and very old...built in 893, according to Wikipedia. ...

    ... and we parted ways. I ate another delicious turkish meal and went to walk it off down by the sea for sunset. I walked the entire length of the boardwalk watching the sun sink behind the mountains.

    ... wood carvings, done over over many years in early 19th century. We also visited the main mosque which had been partially damaged in a major earthquake in 1963. The mosque was structurally damaged, but was still used until finally in 2007, repairs had to be made. The place in the walls which was stabilized are visible as a jog in the wall.
