      Headed off on the 7am ferry over to Orebic on the Peljesac peninsula. Drove down the peninsula past lots of wineries - but it was too early for them to be open!

      Got to the ferry port across to Mljet in lots of time for the 10.30am ferry, so had a relaxing coffee & read. Short ferry crossing, then we enjoyed the drive to the top end ...

      ... swim at own risk', no rules, no swim patrol, just hop in and enjoy. Children as young as 1-2 in floaters bobbing around in the sea. So cute!!! Each time we thought 'had enough' head home, we looked at the sea and jumped back in. At one stage we had peacock make its way down over the rocks to have a bit of a fish around in one of the rock pools, so never a moment without something to watch. ...

      ... above the roof tops, spying down into people's back yards, listening to the bells on the church steeple ringing out the start of mass as it was Sunday, and watching the people below move to and fro either into the church or one of the many restaurants that cater for tourists.
