Portugal is rapidly becoming our favorite place in the world. Why, you ask? Three reasons: interesting and beautiful beaches, pitchers of sangria and flavorful, fresh seafood. Here in Praia de Luz we have found all three within easy access. We're enjoying the variety and changing flavors of Portugal, especially this Algarve region.

This morning we went for a walk on the Praia de Luz beach. Normally the ...

We're staying in a beautiful resort apartment in a complex called Baia ...

One thing we very much like about this new coast is the total lack of swell and waves in general; even with the wind hitting 20 knots as we headed east, the coast on our port side sheltered us from the ...

... we had conversed the night before and that was where his "intuition" came from! Today we are hitting the road, our gps friend Barb is gonna get back to work after her one day paid administrative leave of absence for poor performance. Now her mission is to get us from lagos to Bilbao Spain. We are hoping to check out the Guggenheim either tonight or tomorrow (but probably just from the outside), and then tomorrow we will be heading back into France to Bordeaux somewhere ...
