    ... and speaking to lots of resident kiwis. We'd heard about a party in the town centre so after a while we headed down there. There was a stage set up in the middle of the town square and a folksy band were playing popular reggaeton songs - it was pretty hilarious!!     Went to the beach with Jessie, Mariana & Denniz. Continued around the island past a private property sign which blocked off a nice secluded cove. Chilled there for the day, had a nap & swum out to a rock in the sea where I continued to nap. Rolled around with Jessie! Bumped into an aggressive crab which kept trying to attack us.     ... at a dope little water fall for a dip, ****in freezing! Reminded me slightly of the Waikato, so fresh! Took around 2 hours but we got there, it was a nice little beach with probably 12 other people spread out on it - exactly what I was chasing! Caught up with the Argentinian girls and had some lunch, played hacky & swam. We were under the impression we could get a water taxi back but there was only one there who demanded 40 Reais ...

My plans to adventure around the northern end of the beach was stilted by mud flats so I just plonked myself down and watched the world go by; I also watched other people get very muddy with their first steps off the sandy beach - at least I'd only got my foot muddy tee hee.
