      ... a range of 411 miles, can't complain about that as it would get us to where we needed to go.

      This drive was long and straight. Mile after Mile of wooded hills and valleys as we passed through Virginia and North Carolina. Passing umpteen civil war battlefields, Richmond the confederate capital and the Stonewall Jackson memorial gave us a real sense of history.

      ... little morsels of bliss and smiled whenever we spoke to her. She's a good girl :-) Camping for tonight is at Skyline Wilderness Park and it's a simple place but boy is the area pretty. We just got back from a small walk and the views of mountains and vine growing areas was absolutely lovely. Tomorrow we are off to Yosemite for four nights.
