so much beauty

The location is gorgeous, my bungalow beautiful, gives on a terrace, 10 m of grass, and then, the sea... Bathroom open to a second shower, outside! My favorite! The Mandala bungalow has a private swimming pool! Hotel service is great, people ready to help, taxi waited for me at the Denpasar airport... Many activities possible, but for that one needs to ask the car. For me, I will relax and enjoy the ibis bird that comes to visit me regularly... This is a magical place for a calm retreat!

... hot during daytimes lately!

Things here are not moving forward. I mean all my projects, job search and contact making. People either don't answer or I forget to keep looking... the initial motivations have slightly faded and are waiting to be picked back up... In July...

I'm thinking that when my visa runs out in October I will make my way home. I am missing home more than ever and the job situations might be a bit brighter. Who knows though.

... I felt pretty bad that these random ladies were carrying all my heavy stuff but they wouldn't let me take it myself. The location really was in the middle of know where. We suited up in a small black sand beach with Palm trees behind us and the sea in front. Being in the water after doing all the theory felt much better than before. Now I knew a lot more about scuba diving and the procedures. I felt safe and comfortable in the water, ready for any ...

... feeling well. I have been tired and slept 12 hours last night. Our hotel is concrete Asian architecture with Australian retro interior. Nevertheless, it is safe dry and friendly. A day in the sun by the pool would do wonders. Rained most of the day - we were tired and slept aft walking down the road and getting the shuttle bus back from Grumpy's. Finally decided to go to the New Years party, buffet, fashion show, ...

- Arrived in Kuta and met Melissa at the hostel around 4AM local time. - stayed up chatting about how nervous we were before leaving and extremely culture shocked and wondering what the heck we were doing here - killed time talking until 8AM when we could go down to have our free breakfast of eggs, toast and delicious sweet black tea - wandered around the city trying to ...

... reception to enquire. After five minutes we received a return call. We were offered the opportunity to re-schedule the meal to the following evening (by which time we should be in Kuala Lumpur) or to re-locate into the Menega Restaurant, under cover. Although this was disappointing, we had no other option but to agree. As we got ready, we watched the BBC World News and learned about the plane misjudging the runway at Denpasar Airport that afternoon. The plane had ended up in the ...
