... Gepflogenheiten schon angepasst und in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft Sachen angegeben, die dann doch nicht so sind. Das war natürlich ne großen Enttäuschung ... weil wir was anderes erwartet hatten nach der Beschreibung der Unterkunft ... aber wir wollen uns die Laune nicht verderben lassen.... Also wie immer Augen zu und durch .... vielleicht wird es ja doch noch ganz gut. Den Strand werden wir morgen besuchen ... heute ist nur noch Ausruhen angesagt ....

... to do a sound related experiment but it took me a good 10 minutes to actually get all of them to go outside. It was ridiculous; the one time that the children are meant to go outside and do something fun, none of them want to budge!

... that the driver did not appear to know where he was going and once he had insisted that he did, his machine would not start. We had to be pushed down the hill by four men and fortunately, this brought the tuktuk back to life!

We returned home to play a few games of cards and chatted with some other GVI volunteers on a different project who were staying the night before heading off to Shimoni (where they would not have access to water for a whole week!) Yikes!
