Governor's Harbour was the prettiest and most picturesque harbour we've been to thus far.
We also were very happy to find a sports bar with satellite TV so that we could watch the World Cup. Bahamian cable was blocking the games - making them pay-per-view only.
We were in Rock Sound for the fireworks and celebrations. Interestingly enough, the party begins the night before so that they can have fireworks at midnight to welcome the 10th of July right from the start!

Someone said at dinner tonight that Princess makes more money at this port than at any other port on this cruise … and I can believe it.
Firstly, it is really a beautiful island … well the part we saw - what's not to love? Gorgeous crystal blue water with tropical fish swimming around, glistening white sand, palm trees, sun and a cool breeze.
Then of course there is the Princess perspective … ...
... it radiated up through the chain and was amplified by the structure of the boat. Rock Sound. OK, we got it. Good thing we always have a Plan B.

There was supposed to be a basketball and volleyball competition and we found the courts but not enough people arrived at the allotted time and nor did the organiser. Nothing for it but to join the beach "tanners" for a short while and read our books with an exotic cocktail ...
