Entertaining oneself on a fifteen hour flight is challenging to say the least. This trip I was well prepared. My tools of choice were two books, laptop, kindle, IPad, Ipod.

So as I settled this large frame and copious supply of technology into my economy seat, I had expectations the time would pass quickly.

Six feet of my six foot two inches of height is made up of legs. Fitting those pegs into a space barely big ...

At the impressive and very large Emirates HQ (6000 employees are working there) we were met by Dimitris Floros and Lucia Mather from Global ...

... near the dinosaur during which we were entertained by men dancing, joined by an out there woman tourist, and a dancing 'horse' we went to the taxi rank via the aquarium and the skating rink...very amused by the girls in abayas skating with the best of them. After the free welcome drink at the restaurant overlooking the creek we had a delicious Japanese buffet in the hotel and collapsed into bed ready to be up and on the way to the airport by 6.30 ...

... time we finished with the food courses we were thoroughly stuffed and after a few more pictures of the beautiful interior of the hotel, we headed back to our meager lodgings by comparison to finish off the tour.

After getting back to our hotel (which was actually really nice, I was only kidding) the energy and intrigue of the tour slowly wore off and after checking our email in the lobby for a couple minutes we were practically sleep walking up to our room. When ...
