    ... museum but the number of wax figures and scenes created throughout the museum really gave me the impression of walking back in time to when Dubai was a small shipping port along the sea. The museum put some great detail into the scenes, complete with songs and sounds to enhance the expeirence.     ... but also for us who always need to eat - you just cannot buy anything nor eat it in public. (Unless you go to the supermarket)

    We hung around the mall until it opened and I went and bought some 3/4 jeans so I could abide by the rules :-). After that we were pretty hungry from our early start so we went back to the hotel for lunch and get a snooze in before we got ready for our Sand dune safari.

    ... was more walking to find the Gold and the Spice Souks.   At one point Annie and i sat on one of the shop keepers trolley observing the locals.   However, I think they were more entertained by us two old girls perched on their trolley!  Then, hot and exhausted, we got a taxi back to the apartment and fell into the pool.  Room service for dinner and Georgia was first to bed.      Early tomorrow we are off to London.   ...
