    ... than anything we had ever seen. Bravo, Dubai. ;)

    There were actually two more floors we were able to explore - the 125th floor and the 124th floor. These were just extra places you look out more windows, and they had photo booth ops where they would photo shop you into different parts of the building, like you could look like you were scaling the building from the outside. Sounds pretty cool, right? Well, here is a funny story for ya.

    It took us some time to find our airbnb for the night. 2 metro rides and a good amount of walking later we found it - and it was a hotel. Not what we expected but it worked since we had a place to stay. While we waited for the lady to check us in, another lady appeared with 4 champagne glasses and offered them to us. Surprisingly it was only apple juice. Nevertheless it was refreshing after the hot muggy night walk to find this place. ...

    ... as to exactly where the restaurant would be. We came across a few little places on the road, way more than anything on the boardwalk but in the end we just cut our losses and ate at one of the few shops near where we were staying so in the end we tried this place that looked like a Middle Eastern KFC or Maccas, it was called Shawarmanji and basically it was a Kebab shop franchise.

    My resolve not to buy any trinkets was severly tested when faced with the duty free shopping at Dubai international airport...omg.
    Bought coffee instead. Massive place lots of people but ended up sitting next to two ladies from home also travelling to Rome. Lesson no 1 its a small world.
