... dogs carry the rabies virus here, there is a very valid fear of being bitten by an infected dog. There have been major efforts by the government as well as volunteer groups to carry out mass vaccinations. Because of this fear lots of Bali dogs are being poisoned by local vigilante type individuals.

Despite this - there still seem to be a lot of dogs in Bali. And it seems to follow that a lot of them are very ill-treated. In reaction to this ...

Decided on a drive around day, booked a driver for 6 hours 400,000RP wanted to see the southern part, really enjoyed Sanur and the layout beautiful homes and places to stay, really relaxed looking area. ... it's just of small islands. With the boat been rocky it caused quite a bit of spray of the waves, we were shielded a little so wasn't quite as bad for us but some got soaked. Once we had arrived at Padai Bai it was a little chaotic and the transfer mini busses weren't very ...

We soaked up the sun and this evening we went and had a little splurge in adidas, getting ourselves ready for when we get home and start training again. We had a look at some of the kit and the trainers, it's cheaper than at home. So we both got ourselves a pair of trainers and some sports ...

... we have ever seen before. It's so clear it doesn't look real. We are packing up and moving down to Uluwatu tomorrow morning, and Mikayla says she needs to buy a parka in order to cover herself from the sun...that's not a bad idea considering how much unwanted attention she gets from standing out as a fair blonde. We are sad that we are down to our last few days, but we are both so excited to see Tar Bear, it's been a long few weeks without your giggling, but just 4 more days!!
