... around. At least for me, its getting easier to just hang out with her. That comfort level is slowly getting there, like it is with friends. Also, its important that it does get there. We will be sharing a hotel room for at least the next two days. So, it will be just the two of us, all the time, for the next couple of days. I hope that is going to work out. It would be difficult enough with a friend, and this is a person I didn't know 48 hours ...

... but all ate Thai food and 4/5 had repercussions!! The next morning we were off again, flying to Bali. It's not quite as hot here, but still blue skies and sunshine. When we made our way to Seminyak, we checked into a lush hotel - Maison at C - which had a very colonial feel to it. I definitely will be ...

... we have ever seen before. It's so clear it doesn't look real. We are packing up and moving down to Uluwatu tomorrow morning, and Mikayla says she needs to buy a parka in order to cover herself from the sun...that's not a bad idea considering how much unwanted attention she gets from standing out as a fair blonde. We are sad that we are down to our last few days, but we are both so excited to see Tar Bear, it's been a long few weeks without your giggling, but just 4 more days!!

... family!!) I noticed a sign advertising classes in batik and watercolour, but when I spoke to the artist (a dead ringer for Kurtz in Heart of Darkness!), he said they only do batik now. Figured I didn't really need an introduction to batik, so for now I'll just putter around with the paint on my own. I've included a couple of photos from yesterday that I forgot to post. However, if you're an arachnophobe, you may want to skip ...
