Amazing accomodation!!

I have just arrived back from The Beach House in Blackpool (thats all I can say is WOW!!).

Being of carribean descent I was a bit skeptical on where we were going to stay, then after trawling approx. 200 websites I finally decided on The Beach House (.Blackpool is renowned for being a bit old fashioned and I wanted more up to date decor and no predjudice and that is exactly what I got).

When I contacted the owners for availability they were so polite and thats when I knew I had chosen the correct place for myself and my family to stay.

The beach house is 5 star accomodation and it definately lives up to it. Everything you needed was there and it was so clean and tidy.

I will be highly recommending the beach house to friends and family because aswell as the amazing accomodation, the owners were very helpful with tips on travelling, places to visit and to top my holiday off they directed us to the biggest shopping outlet just 20 minutes away!.

Beach House Bliss

Five of us (from Australia) stayed here as we had a wedding to attend in Preston & were unable to find any self-catering accomodation within Preston.

The Beach House is beautiful, everything you need & very stylish in it's decor. Coupled with that the owners are so friendly & so helpful.

Unfortunately weather wasn't on our side whilst we stayed there so we were unable to explore Blackpool fully. However it is a nice walk from the Beach House down to the piers or there is a tram/trolley bus stop right out the front if walking is not your thing.

Wonderful hosts

my family and i spent a long weekend at The Beach House the accomadation it was superb, clean and comfortable. We can reccommend this accomodation to anyone who enjoys a good seaside break. Our hosts were wonderful very helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to a return vist.

Superb at the Beach House

We booked a 5 day stay at the Beach House in Blackpool, originally it was for two suites, but due to unforseen circumstances with my father in laws health we had to cancel one, which wasn't a problem for Estelle and Darren (owners of the beach house). On arrival we were greeted by Estelle who took us to our suite and showed us around, there was even a very helpful folder with lots of information on the beach house and things to do and where to find things around where we were situated. The Starlight penthouse is simply superb, the cleanliness is astounding, and the attention to detail within the suite is great, (mood lighting for the romantics), everything you could possibly need was available and was of a good quality, no shabby products used here. Even better was the availabilty of hot water all the time, that may seem trivial to think of, but we have stayed in many places within Blackpool over the years and hot water always seems to be in very short supply. All in all a great experience for myself and for my family whom all enjoyed our stay, I would highly recommend the Beach house to anyone wishing a clean , relaxing home from home stay in Blackpool.

Fabulous Home from home

My husband and I, together with my sister and brother-in-law have just returned from our 2nd visit to The Beach House. We stayed last June also and had such a lovely time we decided to return. We stayed in the Sunset Suite, at the front with a beautiful sea view from the huge bay window. We were delighted that although everything in the apartment is one year older, it looks as immaculate and spotless as the previous year.

We love foreign holidays in the sun, but there is something so special about Blackpool and it's people that it just keeps on pulling us back. We have stayed in many hotels and have had so many disappointments, in standards and cleanliness that we were begining to give up hope of finding anywhere that lived up to it's brochure photo! A chance phone call to another self catering establishment nearby which was full, furnished us with the phone number of the Beach House, what a lucky strike that was!. From my very first call to Estelle where we chatted away like old friends, I was intrigued. I liked the sound of everything I was told, viewed the excellent web site and after bombarding poor Estelle with 20 questions, booked!

We are used to 5 star hotels, but not in Blackpoo, however The Beach house is a glittering STAR!!. I have read the review from the person who said Darren and Estelle were overbearing, they are wonderful warm kind people who love to personally greet their guests. We never found them intrusive, just helpful and friendly. We felt secure that they lived on the premises and were around if we needed them, in fact one of the things we really looked froward to this year was seeing them both again and having a good old natter, just like meeting up with old friends.

If you are reading these reviews with a thought of booking all i can say is... DO IT NOW!!! you wiil not regret it.

1st class hotel

we stayed at the beach house hotel last yr for bonfire weekend. we had a very long journey from essex to blackpool and were absolutely shattered by the time we got there, estelle and darren were extremely accomodating. the apartment we had was of 1st class standard, no it was better than 1st class standard, so clean you could have eaten your dinner off the floor!!!!!!!

the beach house is situated on the sea front, near to all the shops and attractions of blackpool, but not the pleasure beach, which in my opinion is a good thing, it meant it was quiet, for families with small children, this is ideal. however there is a tram stop right outside the hotel, where you can catch a tram right along the sea front to the pleasure beach.

estelle and darren have the accomodation just right, it really is a home from home, all mod cons inc in your apartment, they also have thought about the kids, which is where most hotels go wrong!!!!!!

we will not hesitate to stay at the beach house again, and have already reccommended it to our friends and family if ever they decide to visit blackpool as we found it to be excellent value for money!!!!!

Truly Outstanding!

What can I say? A truly remarkable place to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday with excellent northern hospitality! The added bonus being a completely smoke-free environment. Being diagnosed asthmatic a few years ago I really appreciate this kind of accommodation. Bright, clean and spacious. The hosts Darren & Estelle made us feel very welcome. I cannot recommend The Beach House highly enough. Book with total confidence!

5 star accomadation at its best

This was my second visit this year to The Beach House. Estelle and Darren's personal touches to the accomadtion was outstanding. I am a single mother of three boys. The accomadtion was safe, secure and friendly. The Livesey's supplied all the information I asked for which enabled me to do more than I expected whilst on holiday. The apartments are private, peaceful and contain all that you require for a successful holiday. I have recomended The Beach House to several friends and family. My family and I are looking forward to our third stay this April. Thanks again to Estelle and Darren.

Independant and secure

This is the first time I have been on holiday in an apartment as I normally stay in hotels, being a single parent, it feels more secure. The owners Darren and Estelle told me they lived on the premises so I gave it a go. It was the best decision ever.Instead of being in just one room with an en-suite I had this beautiful, modern well equiped apartment that was a delight to stay in. We could then choose whether to eat out in the evening or just chill at 'home' I could then put my little one to bed and happily put my feet up in this luxurious lounge, glass of wine in one hand and watch a dvd which are available from Darren and Estelle for a donation that goes to a hospice for sick children. I would defenately stay here again as I loved the feeling that if I needed some one they were there but without any intrusion. Its a shame not all apartments are this personal.

Families Welcomed!

We recently stayed at The Beach House in Blackpool and found the service excellent!

I was pleasantly surprised to have milk, sugar, tea and biscuits waiting in our appartment for us, expecially as we had just travelled through some bad weather and the trip took longer than planned.

It's child friendly, the rooms are very homely and I found the owners very informative and friendly!

Would reccommend anyone to stay there.
