... watched a breathtaking sunset. We later walked home with a delicious takeout feast !!

Ended the day in our awesomely cooled room with a full belly, a full heart and a birthday cake wish...twice! The hotel employees brought a cake to our room and sang for me. How sweet ;))))

The stomach was growling for grease the second I woke up from booze coma. As usual I was up and about (albeit Ozzie Osbourne like) at 9am, mainly just to re-check into the hotel for one more night! We headed off to Gracie Kelly's, Bali's number one Irish bar at about noon for some home comfort food to smoothen out the hangover- the Bangers and Mash was unreal... ... searching I found a little man holding a sign that simply said CHUCK. Not sure why I was expecting some official sign with my full name on it. Kuthud, my driver, grabbed my suitcase and we were off to Villa Dewi Sri... my home for the next month! :-) Dirty moccasins On the way home Kuthud taught me a little Indonesian. ... The next stop is across the plain to the base of Mt Bromo for the climb to the summit. There are some fantastic vertical ridges all around the volcanoes and they are cooler cone shaped. When we get out of the truck, there are horse men everywhere who for a fee will let you ride to the steps, some people get on straight away. I think this is why everyone parks so far away, because they could park much closer! We have a bit of a walk on the flat before it gets steep ...
