Because it was our Wedding Anniversary we booked the suite, It was very roomy with its own Spa Bath and even a Courtyard to ourselves. It was clean and Staff were extremely helpful. Location was good with a short walk to shops and restaurants. We took the Breakfast option which was lovely. One of the best places we have stayed.

I am now on the way to Lima having just left Fort Lauderdale airport, flying at 40,000 feet and climbing higher due to a spot of turbulence. It was the same on my mid-morning flight between New York and Miami, a bit of a bumpy ride but generally okay. Nothing in comparison to flying the Gulf Stream over the Atlantic this time last year, which was quite alarming, mostly because it took the pilot so long to offer an explanation. He finally said it was expected, normal and the same for ...

My master had colourful new straps around me and so this time I didn't split open. A bag's goal is to do the best to keep one's contents in tact. It seems our handler's goal is to do the opposite. Well, off we went but the taxiing seemed so long. No exhilarating rush and lift off. Some other bags whispered ...

Walking through customs at Fort Laurerale we were instantly picked out for our accents, with one of the women not letting us pass until we had said everything twice to make her really laugh! Still we swiftly moved through it all and walked into the humid and sunny weather of Florida. We needed to be back at the airport that evening at 7 PM for a connection to LA, so we planned on making a direct ...
