... a 6 lane highway. Still humid and hot, we walked along the beach. The sea this side was a shipping lane, you could see quite a few big tankers in the distance. We finished off our stroll along the promenade, looking for somewhere to have a drink. Bahai Cobana patio bar seemed inviting, so we crossed over to find it was part of the Days Inn accommodation. This didn't stop us going in, it had a rustic boardwalk look and overlooked the marina and our hotel across the water. As it ...

As would be expected under such conditions docking at Grove Isle was no picnic even with the assistance of 5 men, who were no match for the wind and 66 tons of boat. Before we know it, it’s time for dinner. We have a round table on the first floor of the Britannia. Our waiters, Marc and Alberto, ...

... a smooth trip back to Cincinnati, with the exception of Carol having a dead battery in the cell phone lot. A good Samaritan gave her a jump, and without much of a delay, we were all delivered to our appropriate residences.

All in all, it was a good trip. We had fun together, the waters were smooth, and we got to see the Panama Canal.

... suits us at the time. We have never had a bad meal in the main dining room and tonight is no exception. True the portions aren't so big but that's not a bad thing. I started with a Caesar Salad and then Slow Roasted Prime Rib followed by a chocolate mousse cake. Peter had a fish starter, beef sliders (like mini burgers) and a Baileys Creme Brûlée. After dinner we headed for the Aqua-theatre. This large open air amphitheatre sits at the back of the ship and feature ...
