      ... to Tanah Lot which is sacred temple on the ocean. One can only go out to view the temple if the tide is out. Otherwise the surrounding area is full of water and too deep.       Woke up this morning...Rich felt good, so we decided to go into Ubud early for breakfast at Casa Luna....mmmm,, granola with yogurt and fruit. I'm talking papaya, mango, pineapple, banana.       ... and found the HUGE beach busy with sun tanners and surfers. we celebrated with some backpackers at a cheap local restaurant gem, and Alleycats, a fun local bar. next day, surf day! our new friend Patty rented us some boards and extra cute rash guards off the beach for $5, and off we went to play in the waves! despite there being sand in all of my organs and later salt water spontaneously coming out of my nose, it was one of the best days in a while. can't wait ...
