To be honest about Lagos, there is not a huge amount to do apart from sit on a beach and enjoy the nightlife. But to be fair, both of those are very good. We just came a little unlucky having arrived in a couple of overcast days with the water being very cold.

... seem to speak some English, but they are delighted when do don't have to - RESPECT! Yay Kate! Very warm welcomes and huge smiles seem to be the default attitude here. Although it's hot - about 30 degrees each day we were here - the city has thousands of trees and gorgeous shady squares where the temperature drops by 10 degrees and a refreshing breeze cools the happy flaneur at every turn ....oh joy and rapture ...

Our last day on the Costa Del Sol dawned beautiful as has every day here in the south of Spain. We had our relaxing morning and were out the door about noon. Our first destination was Puerto Banus, the Monte Carlo of Spain about a 20 minute drive west of Calahonda. A smooth drive brought us to this very luxurious community.
