13th Up at 5am to go to Beng Mealea, a remote jungle-clad temple complex. Told it takes 2 hours by tuk-tuk and that there will be very few tourists. Stop at a small village near the temple for breakfast - noodle soup made of rice noodles, lemongrass, shallot, lotus stalk, beans and cucumber. A rich green in colour.
