... had a good flight of wines - the high point being a 2013 Russian River Pinot Noir. They also did a nice Riesling and a benchmark (though expensive Cab Sauv from the Olive Hill Estate). We liked the Pinot so much we bought a bottle to take away ($48). From there it was on to the Larson Family Vineyard. It truly is a lovely community, easily walkable with lots of upscale shops, restaurants, and cafe's. The waterfront marina is vast and it's fun to walk among the yachts fantasizing about which one is yours. I could have picked out many more than one!!

... the boat, outdoor shoes are a no-no. We then grabbed a burger at the yacht club and had a couple of pints of lager, I went for Budwiser and its fair to say it tastes exactly the same in the UK. I met a few of Chris’ friends and spent most of the evening with his friend Jeff, who was quite the character, nice guy though. Chris was more tired than me it seemed and wanted to hit the hay, although it was about 8am for me by this time. We retired to the boat and I ...
