They have a beautiful piece of property, and we ate lunch overlooking a small lake. ... arrived in Sausalito hungry and thirsty! Not many places open on Christmas Day as clearly people wanting a day off! We saw Salito's crab house and prime rib was open and thought why not! Dawnie was refusing to walk any further anyway! After quite a wait we were told no room at the inn. FaceTime with South Africa to start the day off nicely. On the itinerary for this morning is Muir Woods. The Muir Woods National Monument is an old-growth coastal redwood forest.
