... in SFO, got there and he had run out so then Andy and I had to choose some others/ such fun! Then into town to do shopping for Becky and Bridget , bit of trouble finding the Nike store but after a burger and beer refuel we found it! Now at the airport waiting for check in to open, hope my bag isn't tooooooooo heavy ...

... for me and a cool long sleeve Muir Woods t-shirt for Grant. We got Katie a drink and some chips. Katie and Grant sat on a bench by the gate while Anne and I went off to get the car. After a few false id's ("There it is", No. "I see it", No. "Is that it?" No. ) Finally we got to our car, and I took over the driving from there.

... bit of math!!! Amazing. Many years ago the Benzinger family sold the name Glen Ellen (the town where this winery sits) for many millions of dollars. After selling the name they began producing a much smaller quantity than before, now only producing their "Select" wines. They decided to put their money in the facility, the cave, and the costs of being a biodiversity business - to pesticides, no chemicals. ...

One of the reasons we wanted to stay here another night was that there was to be an evening jazz concert in the park amphitheatre with wine (free) and food (not free, only bar-b-que). And indeed, the music started at 6:30, in a fantastic setting with the sun shining brightly off the mountains in the background and the 100 or so folks in attendance gently ...
