The beach front has a very well laid out promenade with
various monuments, fountains and contemporary art works along its length. The
whole front is backed by holiday flats and hotels and I could imagine that
during summer holidays the place must really buzz.

Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. The Porsche cup cars then had their race, resembling a demolition derby with cars off left right and centre in front of us. Maybe the most exciting race of the day!
After Andy had downed a Belgian waffle and a hamburger, and I'd eaten some hot chips and a filter coffee (!), the F1s were on. We had high hopes ...
