More ups/downs/bends as we headed towards the Belgian border, with wee hamlets every mile or so. As soon as ...

Once again we passed the Nurburgring, having time on this occasion for a quick snap, although not a quick circuit. Further on, we skirted the Eifel Nature Park with a spectacular lake nearby (Stausee). No Wifi (kaput) and no phone signal either so we cannot do any geography homework tonight. The last half-hour was a really twisty road and we finally found our campsite at Hammer, just a ...

Machine gun (I can’t remember the Belgium name) it’s basically this baguette cut in half, sauce is spread on the inside, then your choice of deep fried meat, then loads of French fries and more sauce. It was intense!
