      ... a middle aged woman who lives out here 6 months of the year. I tried the Indian Restaurant on the strip The Jewel of India, but sadly although my Jalfrezie was tasty, the Onion Bargies with no mint sauce and very small Naan and Popperdoms were a let down, the entertainment of a guy playing some kind of Situ?got the deserved tip.       ... is not too much population around, and i think i will go until the border of *****ia...i just meet people who came from there and it seems to be horrible further on...so i give up...i will be back in summer in europe and maybe then finally go to russia next autumn.
      Will see...otherwise nothing much happened here, hope you all are well, send me an email and good luck with the weather...

      ... t get to pool until aftter 3pm, which meant we could just abouut get a sunbed, but before that it would have been tricky as busy.

      Beach has been hit by erosion and has a mini cliff edge (1 metre!), but although it may not look as nice as those in Banjul and Bakau, the sea here was swimmable (although red flag every day we were there) , we wen in every day. My girlf was a bit scared of waves, but I thought it was ruddy brilliant!

      Internet expensive here, but free at all other hotels we went too. This is one reason why we only rated 4 out of 5. They need to address this to be on par with the others. Safe free, as it was at Ocean Bay. Senegambia charged.

      Mosquitos are about at dusk and can be annoying. But they spray them with ‘Bop’ whilst you’re at dinner. We bought a can (50D) which was useful for the rest of our trip.

      We stopped for our mid-day rest at Nyanya's Beach Restaurant in Tanji. By now we were getting to know JJ better and realised how lucky we were to have him as a guide - the number of birds we'd seen so far was phenomenal and birds we'd only hoped to see before arriving in The Gambia were now a reality or real possibilities!
