What an excellent holiday!
... walk along beach will take you to Kotu which has a calmer beach with green flags. Plenty of places to stop for juice etc if you feel inclined. We then went up through the small town which began with F (fajala?) and caught a shared taxi for 7 Dalesi (14p!) back to the Senegambia strip.
Wifi free, ane worked. Safe not free, unlike the other hotels we used. Quite bad this considering how expensive this hotel is.

Lunch at Tanji Beach

After a refreshing salad and cold drink we had a walk along the beach to view the seabirds. We were soon joined by 3 local 10-year old boys who received 100 Dalasi from us, not only for their heart-rendering story about the lack of football at their school, but for pointing out the 3 Pink-Backed Pelicans flying behind us! Another tick!
